Democrat, and Minnesota Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar, made a bold and vial comparison of Nazi Germany and Israel when she announced a resolution supporting the right to boycott Israel. Her resolution seeks to push back against U.S. laws that ban the boycott of Israel.
“Americans of conscience have a proud history of participating in boycotts to advocate for human rights abroad including … boycotting Nazi Germany from March 1933 to October 1941 in response to the dehumanization of the Jewish people in the lead-up to the Holocaust,” said Omar in the pro-BDS resolution.
This woman really put Nazi Germany on the same playing field as Israel.
First of all, the boycott of Nazi Germany came about as a response to the Nazi boycott of Jewish businesses. Most obviously, Nazi Germany was a hate-infested, authoritarian regime that sought to exterminate the Jewish people, and the Soviet Union was a tyrannical, repressive regime that was full of anti-semitism.
The resolution that Rep. Ilhan Omar was wicked and disrespectful of history. Democrats cannot keep using the word “Nazi” for people and places they do not like. It cheapens the word and attempts to lessen the evils done by those people. The only that that is the same as Nazi Germany, was Nazi Germany, that dark time in history where countless people lost their lives is not to be used as an adjective to further Omar’s anti-Semitic agenda.
To make her support of the anti-Semitic BDS more wicked than it already was, Ilhan Omar is now comparing Israel to the pure evil, genocidal Nazi and Soviet regimes.
This woman is an apparent driving force of the Democrat Party. In reality, she is just going to drive herself out of a career. Let Democrats know you will not stand for her rhetoric and wicked goals. Tell MN Democrats to disassociate from Ilhan Omar by signing this petition.
